Many students struggle to understand why they perform poorly in technical interviews. Existing platforms often provide only scores without personalized guidance.

We built PrepPath AI to help users learn from every interview through AI-powered feedback, personalized learning, and targeted practice.

What it does

PrepPath AI is an AI-powered interview preparation platform that:

  • Conducts AI-generated technical interviews
  • Evaluates interview performance
  • Identifies strengths and areas for improvement
  • Creates personalized learning roadmaps
  • Teaches weak topics through AI-generated lessons
  • Generates targeted practice sessions
  • Evaluates practice performance and tracks improvement

How we built it

PrepPath AI was built using:

  • HTML5
  • CSS3
  • JavaScript
  • Bootstrap
  • n8n
  • Groq API (Llama 3.3 70B)
  • jsPDF

The frontend communicates with n8n workflows, which generate interview questions, evaluate responses, create personalized learning roadmaps, deliver AI-powered lessons, and generate targeted practice sessions.

Challenges we ran into

  • Designing prompts that consistently returned valid JSON
  • Integrating multiple n8n workflows
  • Handling API errors and webhook responses
  • Generating personalized learning recommendations
  • Managing application state across multiple pages
