Inspiration

Many students, developers, and freelancers struggle with interview preparation, resume optimization, project organization, and productivity management. Existing tools often solve only one problem at a time and feel disconnected.

We wanted to build a single AI-powered workspace that combines career preparation, productivity, collaboration, and AI assistance into one modern platform.

PrepFlow AI was created to help users prepare smarter, stay organized, and improve their workflow using AI-powered tools and real-time collaboration features.

What it does

PrepFlow AI is an AI-powered SaaS platform that helps users:

  • Practice AI mock interviews
  • Analyze resumes with ATS scoring
  • Manage projects using Kanban workflows
  • Collaborate through shared workspaces
  • Use an AI assistant for coding, productivity, and career guidance

How we built it

We built PrepFlow AI using modern SaaS technologies and real Supabase backend integration.

Frontend:

  • React / Next.js architecture

  • Component-based design system

Backend & Database:

  • Supabase Authentication
  • Supabase PostgreSQL Database
  • Realtime subscriptions
  • Row Level Security (RLS)

Features were connected to live database operations including:

  • Real CRUD functionality

  • Real analytics dashboards

Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges was replacing all mock/demo data with fully functional real-time Supabase integration while maintaining a smooth and premium user experience.
