Inspiration

We were inspired to create PrepBot after hearing about the struggles that job seekers face during the interview process, and wanted to provide a solution to help increase their chances of success.

What it does

PrepBot is an AI-powered interview preparation tool that provides targeted feedback and advice to job seekers, helping them to improve their interview skills and increase their chances of getting hired.

How we built it

We built PrepBot using a OpenAI API, natural language processing techniques, vite as a development tool, and using HTML, CSS and JS as a frontend.

Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges we faced was getting OpenAI API to give the response that we needed, as the API does not remember the previous conversations.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud to have created a tool that could help countless job seekers to feel more confident and prepared during the interview process.

What we learned

Through building PrepBot, we learned how to connect multiple third party APIs and seamlessly connect to the front-end to provide a personalized user experience.
