Inspiration

I love literature, but despite having all the great write-ups or poems in my head, could never pen them down. Being passionate about technology and a science fiction enthusiast, I always imagined a tool that could take in my idea and express it in the form of a poem. With the rise in AI tools, I saw a glimpse of this dream of mine coming to reality, but the content they generated was not really personalised. The AWS PartRock Hackathon provided me with the opportunity to put my creative intuition to the test, along with letting me accomplish my dream to help fellow folks like me (the majority), who would love having such a tool, by their side...

What it does

Takes a literary work, like a poem, quote, or one-liner as user input, analyzes the emotions and its specific genre, post-which it generates five eye-catchy (downloadable) backgrounds for the same write-up, along with generating similar write-ups if asked by the user to do so, by the embedded chatbot.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

This tool helped seasoned writers, who want a backstory to publish their work, as well as the underdogs, who, despite being the Picasso or Shakespeare of their minds, cannot pick the brush or pen to express what they feel and want others to feel it the same way.

What we learned

There's a huge market for such tools, especially if made multilingual, with languages like Bangla, Hindi, and Urdu, having the most number of literature enthusiast people.

What's next for Literary Insights Generator.

Building a database to store the content generated or provided by the user, as input, to fine-tune the model and generate future responses with a more personalised approach...
