Inspiration
Students often spend too much time organizing notes instead of actually learning. We wanted to build an AI-powered study companion that makes exam preparation faster and more effective.
What it does
Prep transforms notes and question banks into interactive quizzes, flashcards, and personalized explanations. It helps students review more efficiently with AI-assisted learning.
How we built it
We built Prep using SwiftUI for the iOS app and OpenAI models to generate questions, explanations, and study content. The app focuses on a clean, native user experience while providing intelligent learning assistance.
Challenges we ran into
One of the biggest challenges was designing an experience that feels simple while providing useful AI features. Balancing speed, usability, and high-quality AI responses is still an ongoing process.
What's next
We plan to add PDF and PPT importing, adaptive learning based on user performance, spaced repetition, and AI-generated study plans.
