Inspiration

I have watched many depictions of rare diseases in shows and real life case where a lack of knowledge on a disease can lead to a bad outcome for the patient.

What it does

The form takes personal data about a user's rare impairment or disease in order to make a standardized document that can be formatted for other healthcare providers

How we built it

Used python and tkinter to be able to create GUIs

Challenges we ran into

Because this is my first time using tkinter (and custom tkinter), I struggled with simple parts of creating the program, like using .grid() and .pack().

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Being able to learn on the fly as I am creating this project.

What we learned

How to use different functions and attributes in customtkinter and how to make a GUI with python (and in general)

What's next for Prep Time

Being able to share a program like this to different hospitals and containing a database of different types of diseases can help other healthcare providers prepare for people who may have difficult-to-cure diseases or impairments.
