PreOpCare is an AI SaaS platform using Gemini to automate pre-surgery workflows. Autonomous agents guide patients through compliance, documents, and timelines, reducing last-minute cancellations.
Inspiration: I am a doctor, and pre-anaesthetic evaluation involves a lot of administrative work.
What it does: This uses live and captured images of the patient, evaluates blood reports, and summarises the plan and risks for the patient and doctor to help them understand the outcome.
How we built it: Antigravity, Google DeepMind's advanced AI agentic coding assistant, which helped design the clinical guidelines database and user interface.
Challenges we ran into: Building the framework of the app.
Accomplishments that we're proud of: It's working on the cloud and analysing almost correctly, but it needs constant updates.
What we learned: I learned about how correct prompts are required and proper testing is needed to build it, and what the complexities are to be solved and how to deploy it in a friendly way for the benefit of patients.
What's next for PreOpCare: I want to build a good team to improve the software and train it on the database of patients.
