Inspiration
Based on my interest in soccer, especially premiere league, I have followed the trend of the players for a while. I find that there is a deviation of the forms, which leads to the number of goals, assists, and other strategies.
What it does
It will consider the data related to the player, maybe separately based on the position to avoid some biases. Then, using the AI/ML algorithm to create an analysis of the players in terms of overall performance. Moreover, we may make a prediction of how each player would perform in the future matches, and also even predict the injury that could happen based on the distance they run.
How we built it
First, using the model related to clustering to determine the position of the player, if not determined beforehand in the dataset. Then, for each position, running the ML algorithms to classify players into their key attributes, and also their strength and weakness. We also apply some general regression to predict the opportunity created for the field players, and expected number of saves for a goalkeeper.
