The inspiration: What inspired this project was the ineffectiveness of regular calendar apps. As a student, it is not helpful to be reminded that you have an assignment or quiz due a day before the deadline.
What PreDue does: PreDue will remind you days before the deadline so you can finish the work early rather than right before the deadline.
How we built PreDue, and the biggest challenge we faced: We built this project using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The biggest challenge we faced was implementing the functionality of the Gantt chart.
The future for PreDue: What's next for PreDue is implementing an algorithm that automatically assigns day-told work on a specific task based on your personal life (factors like when you sleep, your current schedule, etc.)
