Inspiration:

Decreasing deployment time and customer time to value by quick connecting assets and collecting data.

What it does:

Predefined kits make it easy to connect new assets, provision in under 15 minutes, and visualize the data in preconfigured dashboards.

How we built it:

Predix Machine on Intel Edisons securely stream data to the cloud, where we are using UAA, Time Series, and Asset.

Challenges we ran into:

We had to build micro services for several standard requirements.

Accomplishments that we're proud of:

We developed a new micro service to store alarms and events, process alarms and events, developed an entire display for lightweight dashboarding, prototyped some standard events, and improved speed of deployment and configuration.

What we learned:

We learned how to write micro services and Predix applications, and how to work efficiently as a team in a compressed time period.

What's next for Predix Avengers Kits:

We will be releasing the Predix Kits into internal beta by Minds + Machines, and external beta by the end of the year. We will continue to develop them with customers for industrial applications.
