PredictorGuru - How much does your property value?

Inspiration

We find that selling properties can be rather problematic and a huge decision for owners to make. Furthermore, housing properties are expensive assets, making owners unsure of the most beneficial but rationale price to sell their property at. However, what if we could come up with a prediction model using Machine Learning, that owners can leverage on to help them in their decision-making?

What it does

Predicts the best selling price of properties using Machine Learning and helps owners better understand the worth of their property with the consideration of various features, that have strong impact on the price sensitivity of housing properties.

How we built it

Brainstormed our ideas and processed them step by step. Branched out the various processes and looked at past Machine Learning projects for ideas.

Challenges we ran into

We encountered multiple hurdles with the flow of the project as well as finding a strong dataset to train our model with.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Participating in hackathons to challenge ourselves competitively and experience what employers and judges are looking for, even with technical knowledge.

What we learned

We learnt how we could incorporate the concepts of Machine Learning, Programming as well as the business strategies that we have learnt onto this project.

What's next for PredictorGuru - How much does your property value?

We would like to be given the opportunity to develop and implement PredictorGuru as we believe that this project will benefit users in the property sector. We would like this project to advance on and utilised in the future. At the same time, we would like the judges to give us feedback on the ideation and how we can improve on such a project.
