Inspiration

Investment firms only care about making money. So we want to create a app that everyone can have access to. The app is up to date with current stock news.

What it does

Budgets your income and shows the risk and return ratio of the stocks that you are interest in. Compares the stocks that you are interested in.

How we built it

We used the library "yfinance" to pull in and extrapolate real time data of the stock market. We used the data in the LSTM model to predict future data of you choosing time period. We train the data sets to go through 20 times for accurate results.

Challenges we ran into

Connecting the backend and frontend. We used flask to connect the two so we had to change all the html format.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We got it done with a team where everyone was a first timer.

What we learned

We learned how to use flask and how to make front ends and back ends. We also learn how to make websites.

What's next for Untitled

Using, this application, we will be able to make better financial decisions. In the future, we hope to grow this application for more in-depth financial analysis such as implementing the CAPM financial model for future stock predictions, provide general IRS tax advice, and implement an AI financial advisor to give general financial practice advise to help mutliple people make better financial decisions. Turning our local web application into an app, we hope to reach an audience across America.
