Inspiration
We used the PlantVillage dataset from kaggle to train a nueral network to recognise some common diseases in some plants.
What it does
We have trained the machine learning model that detects some common types of diseases from the pictures of leaves.
How we built it
We used TensorFlow and Keras to build the nueral network and Flask to make the web app Currently the web app is deployed to Linode
Challenges we ran into
We are currently having some issues with images on the web app We also started pretty late so we were not able to get solve all the bugs and the nn is about 80% accurate on test data
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud to make a submission in this hackathon as we wanted to create something that helps the environment.
What's next for Precious Plants
We hope to make the nn better and solve the bugs in the web app.
