Inspiration

A shared folder link goes out in one click, and nobody opens every file first. A passport scan, a card number in a note or a photo tagged at home can go with it.

What it does

Pre-Share Check scans one NAS folder before you share it. You name the folder and say who gets it.

  • It lists the photos and documents.
  • It reads photo GPS and visible text.
  • It reads documents for ID numbers, bank or card numbers, passwords, phone numbers and home addresses.
  • It shows each risky file with the kind of finding and a risk level: High, Medium or Low. A stranger as recipient raises Medium to High.

You decide what to leave out. The Skill changes no file.

How I built it

One SKILL.md for the Uliya Skill Kit 0.7.3, with no scripts. The parent Skill makes three delegations: file-agent lists the files, photo-agent reads photo metadata and text, document-agent reads the documents. It asks the experts to return only the kind of finding, never the value. The Kit checker returns static-pass with 0 errors and 0 warnings. Five review rounds by two independent AI reviewers shaped the final text.

Challenges

  • The Skill cannot force an expert to withhold a value, so it says this to the user and asks for consent first.
  • It scans only the first 20 photos and 20 documents per run. A "next batch" loop caused more bugs than it solved, so I removed it.
  • Whether GPS data comes back depends on what the NAS returns.

What's next

This is a Round 1 entry and has not run on a real NAS. The first NAS test checks whether values stay hidden, whether GPS comes back, and how fast 20 photos scan.
