Inspiration

I am currently working in the ESL field in South Korea and feeling stagnated. I want to change my career paths and pivot to more AI related content. I have no experience with AI and this is my first ever AI app that was successfully built and deployed indivuadally without the help of anyone.

What it does

Glance transforms sales preparation by generating comprehensive research reports in seconds. Our AI-powered platform analyzes company websites, LinkedIn profiles, and news articles to deliver actionable insights, pain points, and conversation starters that help, you, me, sales professionals, and business owners close more deals.

How we built it

This app was built using Bolt AI, Relevance AI, and Vercel for deployment.

Challenges we ran into

As it was my first app, I did not know much about anything. I failed on multiple building apps and had to restart this project at least 10 times. I often had database issues, code not being pushed to Github, unknown errors, or not being able to figure out the environmental variables. However, once I did my own research and studies, I was able to better prompt and correct these issues by myself.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am really proud of the successful flow of the app and the supabase integration, api endpoints, and successful launch on Vercel. I have also learned alot about frontend and backend services through this experience.

What we learned

I have learned so much from start to finish. Most importantly I learned the limitations of these building apps and how your own knowledge is needed to mitigate this. I was often forced to go learn about the problem outside of the apps AI generated response and this helped me to streamline and modify the prompts to get the results that I wanted.

What's next for Glance Pre-Sales AI Agent

I have decided to turn it into a mini sales suite with six plug in modules that assist the user from start to finish. This suite will help users go from lead research → outreach → meeting → follow-up → competitive analysis — covering the full sales cycle.
