What it does
pre-publish-check reviews a photo folder on the NAS before posting and returns a hold list of images that show other people's written contact details or carry location metadata.
Who it is for
Creators who photograph shops, cafes, and trips. I am one. I strip location data from travel photos myself, and once, just before publishing, found a stranger's handwritten name and phone number in a menu-board photo. A cloud check would upload the very data I want to protect.
Solution
A read-only Skill: list a chosen folder's images, read embedded metadata and visible text, mark each file as hold candidate or no finding, save a report after approval. It never edits photos, asks about faces or people, or writes detected characters into the report.
What is different
Existing tools organize, extract, or summarize; this Skill stops things from leaving. Cloud checkers need the photos uploaded: the leak itself. The Skill sends nothing outside the NAS, the output is a hold list, and the report holds finding types only, so the check creates no new copy of personal data.
