  The final product we have in mind

We spoke extensively with GateGroup representatives to better understand why the technology hadn't been implemented, what their problems had been, etc.

After that, we brainstormed and settled on the ideas we considered most realistic and optimal for the current situation. Definitely, the hardest part was installing the necessary libraries for Python to interpret barcodes using the laptop's camera.

After trying everything we could think of, continually refining both the program's logic and the action plan so the institution could get the most benefit from our program, we ended up with what we believe is a fairly solid demo.
