About Prayers Prayers is a unique, Telegram-based game that reimagines the classic Minesweeper experience from the 90s, blending it with modern blockchain technology. Our project is inspired by the thrill and strategy of Minesweeper, and we've infused it with the excitement of cryptocurrency. Players stake our native token, $PRAY, and navigate through the game to find the Pray sign to win. It's not just about luck; it's about strategy, making each game a gripping experience.

Inspiration Our love for classic games and the potential of blockchain technology sparked the creation of Prayers. We wanted to bring the nostalgia of Minesweeper into the modern age, making it more interactive, competitive, and rewarding. The idea of integrating cryptocurrency was born from a desire to merge the fun of gaming with the burgeoning world of digital finance.

What We Learned Building Prayers was a journey of discovery. We delved into the complexities of Telegram bots, the intricacies of smart contracts, and the nuances of user experience in a Web3 environment. This project taught us the importance of a seamless onboarding process and the challenges of integrating blockchain technology into familiar gaming formats.

How We Built It Prayers is built with a focus on simplicity and user engagement. We developed a Telegram bot as the game's interface, ensuring accessibility and ease of use. The game's backend is powered by smart contract technology, though we're still in the process of fully integrating this with the game mechanics. We emphasized a smooth onboarding flow, automatically setting up a Web3 Auth wallet linked to the user's Telegram handle, to make the entry point as hassle-free as possible.

Challenges Faced The biggest challenge we encountered was time constraints, which hindered our ability to fully integrate the smart contract with the game. Despite this, we are proud to present a functioning Telegram game with an exceptional onboarding experience. This limitation has only fueled our determination to continue developing and enhancing Prayers.

Moving Forward As we continue to work on Prayers, our focus will be on completing the integration of the smart contract, enhancing game features, and ensuring a seamless, enjoyable gaming experience for all our users. We are excited to have a strong launch coinciding with Mode's main-net launch and will finalise the product until then.
