Inspiration
In the wooden horse headed to Troy, Odysseus must have had questions that he wanted to be answered. So, why not ask the very gods for the answers directly.
What it does
Select a god that was present at Troy and ask a question that could be answered as a yes or no question. If you're lucky, the gods might answer your question.
How we built it
We used HTML, PHP, CSS, and JavaScript to create a website
Challenges we ran into
- We couldn't connect to the internet for the first hour of the competition
- One of our computers still can't connect to the internet when programming the website
- Small errors in our code that stop the website from working but didn't produce an error log ## Accomplishments that we're proud of
- The website functions as intended
- We created a system to filter the prayer from response questions and yes/no questions
- It looks good on all types of devices, from phones to desktops ## What we learned
- We learned how to persevere through challenges ## What's next for Pray to the Gods
- Expanding the program to include more gods and allowing users to input questions that aren't strictly "Yes/No" type questions.
