Inspiration

Navigating career growth can feel fragmented — job boards, resume builders, skill platforms, and trackers all live in silos. We wanted to build something that truly supports professionals end-to-end, whether they’re actively job hunting or simply preparing for the future. Our goal was to create an intelligent, always-on companion — a Career OS — that evolves with your journey.

What it does

Praxuit is a smart, AI-powered platform designed to support users across the full career lifecycle. It offers:

  • Skill analysis based on your existing profile and experience
  • Tailored resume generation using job descriptions and AI optimization
  • Job analysis tools that break down roles by required skills and fit
  • A clean, evolving professional profile system to anchor all of this Whether you're exploring, applying, or growing, Praxuit is your intelligent partner.

How we built it

Used Bolt to build frontend and used super base integration for database and also used edge functions for data processing. Used Open-AI for all the AI related jobs and also parsing into a schema or URL extraction from job links.

Challenges we ran into

As the project grew, it became really difficult to manage. Often Bolt didn't do what is expected had to multiple tries for the same change. Many tokens were wasted in figuring that out. At times it was frustrating to see unindenting changes being made by bolt which brought me back to square one.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

It is a functional application with sign-in and saves data database. Leveraged LLM to address some of the user pain points.

What we learned

  • Career growth is a continuous, non-linear process — and tools need to reflect that
  • Users value clarity over complexity, even when working with AI
  • Design and language are as important as algorithms when it comes to trust
  • There’s huge potential in blending AI with self-reflection tools
