PRANORA

Inspiration

The inspiration for PRANORA came from witnessing the growing waste management challenges in our communities. Overflowing garbage sites, delayed cleanup efforts, and the lack of an efficient reporting mechanism motivated us to find a solution. We wanted to create a platform where everyday citizens could actively participate in keeping their environment clean while holding management accountable.

We also had inspiration from the eagerness to make a change in people , but lack of proper stage to do so .

What it does

Our website takes a Geotagged image of waste affected land etc from the user and sends it to the managers and the volunteers who then take actions to clean and remove the waste . The progress is timely updated to the user .

How we built it

We built our website using Wix.

Challenges we ran into

There were a lot of challenges that we faced . We are first Year students of computer science so we have just put our legs forward into the world of coding . So making the website was a bit difficult so we had to use Wix . One more challenges was that we hadn't used Wix before this so understanding the interface was a challenge .

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The accomplishment we are proud of is that even though we had challenges , we worked as a team , supported each other and made this into a success.

What we learned

We learned that even small steps can make it big , we learnt to think out of the box .We also learnt that working in a team is actually very fun and can lead you to greater heights .

What's next for PRANORA

We are planning on building PRANORA to an actual working website , and publishing it and making it reach the world so that it can the problems it is created to solve .
