I've spent 10 years as a public speaking coach and one thing so many of my clients hate Q&A sessions. Being put on the spot and having their updates/presentations scrutinised. I often role play this with them but I'm told I'm too nice and supportive - enter this AI solution! This allows them to practice with Tavus' brilliant (and unnerving realistic AI agents) building confidence through simulation!

I’ve spent 10 years as a public speaking coach and one thing clients consistently dread is Q&A sessions. That moment when you’ve just finished presenting … and suddenly you’re under fire. I often role-play these moments with clients, but they tell me I’m too kind and supportive.

So, enter this AI solution. Using Tavus’ impressively lifelike agents, we can now simulate challenging, realistic Q&As that build confidence through practice.

What it does

Prep your update or PowerPoint, hit Start Presentation, and talk through it as you normally would.

Once you’re done, hit Start Q&A and meet your AI panel:

How we built it

I mainly used Bolt and Tavus. Hammering in prompts. Testing, breaking, remaking, testing again! Working on it right up to the wire!

Challenges we ran into

Trying to do too much! I originally wanted the app to give feedback too. But I needed to get the basics right first, which I think I've done

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm not much of a coder. It's not my job. I'm proud that I put something together that I can see being genuinely useful for my clients. And indeed, those who can't afford a one-to-one coach to role play these nervewracking situations with.

What we learned

When you’re stuck, step away. Go for a walk. Then come back and ask the AI how to ask it better!

Smart feedback system (e.g. filler words, pacing, clarity) Perhaps me as an avatar giving these feedback! Monetisation (it’s currently free for 3 sessions a month) Public launch!
