PPP math problem generator

Inspiration

When we were teaching primary students, especially those young kids, we always wanted to find out how we could not only teach them in an easier way but also interest them. We have created this simple program to generate the problems for us which prevents over-consuming time for finding documents.

What it does

It literally generates math problems using different variables 'a' and 'b'. More than 1000 combinations can be generated by just pressing one run button.

How we built it

we gave them two random words which we could calculate. They are plus, subtract, multiple, and divide. There is even an easter egg that lets the user guess the number which range is 1-100 and it comes up with a random number.

Challenges we ran into

There were too many bugs that we were supposed to fix.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This was the first program we have built using python. We were so proud of ourselves when it operated without any bugs.

What we learned

we learned that it is hard to write down what we learn quikly. We thought we need lots of practice to write down those like big code. So we need to have much more practice.

What's next for PPP math problem generator

The next step we would like to take is to create a section that also generates more complicated equations such as quadratic formulas or even calculus
