Just to be clear, the website/back-end communicates with the plug directly though Weaved services, through the Weaved website. No extra hardware(not even a computer or Raspberry Pi), is technically required to control the Weaved Plug. The computer/mobile device is ONLY needed to pay for the plug, not to turn it on
