PowerPro

Inspiration

There is a gap between what swimmers need from their training on the power towers, and what the simple power towers deliver. We saw an opportunity to learn from the power tower workouts that were simply being ignored, and so we built a digitized solution that pulls out the valuable insights from the swimmers' sessions with the power towers

What it does

PowerPro uses an accelerometer to read the motion of the buckets to determine power output, stroke rate and other metrics of the swimmer.

How we built it

An ESP8266 wireless microcontroller calculates power from accelerometer data and streams it to a dashboard for analytics
