Inspiration
Now a days the consumption of electricity is exceeding the production which is leading to exploitation of more resources, to reduce this we have come up with an idea of creating this Power Generating Tile using piezoelectric sensors.
What it does
The piezoelectric sensors which are attached to the tiles takes the mechanical energy from the footsteps and convert it into electrical energy which can be further used by storing it in a battery.
How we built it
The main component that are used in Power Generating Tile are Arduino UNO, Piezoelectric sensors and Battery. We have store the project code in Arduino UNO which helps us in managing the activities of the project and to generate electricity.
Challenges we ran into
Writing the efficient code and to arrange the components in such a way that we get maximum electricity as the output.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We contributed in generating some eco-friendly power generating project by which we can reduce the exploitation of resources upto some extent.
What we learned
Creating a successful project is a task, we came across many challenges which have been resolved and some changes which improves the efficiency of the project.
What's next for Power Generating Tile
If this project fulfills the requirements of the users, we can further develop it into a business model.
