  Helping Women Build Up Their Toolbox

Inspiration

Our inspiration for this project was an equal interest in doing something for a social good. We also all did wonder why there were not more women entrepreneurs out in tech, thus we wanted to ask not only why, but what we, as upcoming career women ourselves, could do about it.

What it does

Our app is intended to be a platform for women to connect to different resources already out there, advertise their business to investors, and create connections.

How we built it

We built it on github to collab using HTML and CSS

Challenges we ran into

Answering the question of how we could actually make a difference for these women entrepreneurs. There are already a lot of resources out there, so how can we have the biggest impact?

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Some members weren't as experienced in coding, but their willingness to learn was something we all were proud to see.

What we learned

Learned about github, programming a website, navigating a brainstorming activity. Also attempted to load our site to google cloud given the knowledge we had gained, but that will be for another time.

What's next for PowderPuff

We all learned new skills during this weekend and we all are excited to see where it takes us. Both in school, in life, and in hobbies.
