Inspiration
Current state of affairs within the United States and the problems with income inequality and inflation.
What it does
Compiles data from datausa.io about poverty rates and populations state by state. Gives overall number of impoverished and records text and graph results.
How we built it
I used multiple modules in Python. Also did my best to implement lessons learned from the course whenever possible.
Challenges we ran into
Wasn't able to get more recent data about poverty and populations.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Accomplishing this on my own and having an end result that runs without any errors, including flake8.
What we learned
Learned a lot both about the state of poverty in the US and what it looks like compared to what we see in real life.
What's next for Poverty in the USA
More recent data, possible other uses for the underlying code to be tasked with other resources and/or data.
