Inspiration

What would you do if Apple went out of business? Or Google just stopped existing? Modern technologies like phones and laptops are designed to be hard to fix the hardware, and lack the ability for you to peek under the hood of the software.

The Pocket CHIP was a raspberry pi esque computer created by NextThingCo, who went out of business. Thanks to their open source hardware and software policy, the community of developers were able to maintain the infrastructure needed to operate these devices, despite the company who created them no longer existing.

Uxn is a stack based virtual machine designed to be extremely portable, allowing it to be run virtually anywhere. It's open source, and has many implementations on many systems.
