Inspiration
I am a high school student and in my online classes I have noticed several of my peers as well as myself slouching almost all the time. This brought to my attention the issue of posture. I furthered researched the issue and realized that poor posture is actually a major issue in the world.
What it does
PosturePro analyzes a person’s posture and informs them about it. (More information about what PosturePro does is included in the video)
How I built it
I used Teachable Machine which is a pose-recognition model to track the user's posture. I used Python to display the statistics collected from the model into graphs and tables. I used HTML, CSS, and JS to create a fully-functional website for PosturePro
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am certainly proud of building a fully functional website which presents all the unique features PosturePro offers along with building the PosturePro model.
What we learned
I learned how to integrate Tensorflow and I also learned how to incorporate and turn the data I collected from my model into statistics and graphs with Python
What's next for PosturePro
In the future PosturePro will be made into a chrome extension and it will send reminders to the users if they have bad posture for a prolonged period of time.
