Inspiration
We wanted to develop a project that can contribute towards decreasing the Mental Health issues around the globe.
What it does
Predicts PostPartum Depression according to the patients responses
How we are planning to build it
- First the frontend website for the therapists and the android app for the patients will be designed.
- Next , we will build the frontend and app in parallel since two different members of the team will be working on them separately.
- After that , the machine learning model will be trained upon the dataset.
- Then an API will be created that links the model to the app and the website of the therapist so that it can predict upon the inputs of the patients.
- Finally the mongodb database is prepared and connected as a backend to the app and website.
- This completes the project.
Challenges we ran into
The integrity of the various techstacks was a challenging part of the project.
What's next for PostPartum Depression Detection System
We are thinking of maybe also incorporating video conferencing directly from the app to make the therapy process easier for both the patients as well as the therapists.
