Inspiration

As content creators ourselves, we noticed how time-consuming it is to repurpose long-form videos into short, impactful clips and manually publish them across multiple platforms. We wanted to create a smarter, faster way to handle this process—powered by AI.

What it does

Postivo is an AI-powered platform that helps content creators grow faster with less effort. It:

  • Auto-generates viral clips from long-form videos
  • Streamlines post creation
  • Enables one-click publishing to multiple platforms
  • (Coming soon) Analyzes comments and engagement to suggest smarter content strategies

How we built it

We used:

  • Next.js for the frontend and UI
  • FFmpeg.wasm for client-side video processing
  • AI logic (placeholder) for smart clip suggestions
  • Tailwind CSS for clean and responsive design
  • Netlify for deployment

We focused on making the core video clipping experience functional and intuitive.

Challenges we ran into

  • Time limitations prevented us from integrating the AI comment analysis and social media publishing.
  • Designing a simple but scalable UX was challenging within the timeframe.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

  • We successfully implemented a working video clipping tool powered by FFmpeg.wasm.
  • The UI is clean, responsive, and ready for further feature integration.
  • We created a solid foundation for a full-featured content automation platform.

What we learned

  • Working with FFmpeg in the browser was a great hands-on experience in client-side media processing.
  • Clear prioritization is crucial during a hackathon.
  • Simplicity in design and feature scope pays off under tight deadlines.
  • We faced some Netlify deployment issues, it is common issue in deployment to have issue even if the build is successful

What's next for Postivo

Continue the developing the features that are not complete, and extendning the network. It is a chance!

  • Integrating AI-based clip suggestions based on content engagement potential
  • Adding automated publishing to platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Implementing comment sentiment analysis to guide future content creation
  • Building user authentication and content history dashboard
