Inspiration
Small businesses like coffee shops, bookstores, and community centers rely on posters and flyers to spread the word about their events. Designing polished posters takes time and design skill that many owners don’t have. We wanted to create a tool where anyone could enter a few details about their event and instantly generate a professional-looking poster. This was inspired by watching local businesses struggle with marketing during our time in Philadelphia and by the growth of AI tools that can make design more accessible.
What it does
Poster Pilot is a web app that helps small business owners quickly generate eye-catching event posters. Users enter a few structured details, business type, theme, tone, and description, and can also pull in live event data from Eventbrite. With one click, the app generates a polished poster, either as styled HTML/CSS or as a full image, ready to download or share.
