An app is needed which analyses crests and troughs in market and generates scenarios for risk exposures. This app will be a value-add to the customer portfolios
The app processes raw shocks and factor returns for various attributes based on various currencies and generates plots for the the factors that are direct dependency to the risk exposures.
The app was built using DevOps (Jenkins, Maven, and Docker) and UI (Angular and Chart.js)
The primary challenge was to understand the business definition and integrate technologies to visualize it.
We successfully deployed the project on rancher using a docker container and the app is visual and easily understandable.
We had hands-on experience with various technologies.
Portfolio solutions requires more business insight so it can serve the purpose and be a successful tool for the customers to analyse risk exposures and benefit from it.
