Inspiration

As the holidays approached, I found myself contemplating how to make the most of my time. With the intention of expanding my portfolio, I recognized the need for a tool that not only aids in personal development but also serves as a resource for others in a similar situation. Faced with a mental block and school-related exhaustion, the idea to create a portfolio inspiration generator was born.

What it does

Our portfolio inspiration tool streamlines the portfolio creation process by generating personalized ideas based on user goals. By collecting key information such as previous experiences and educational background, the AI crafts a tailored portfolio outline. Beyond idea generation, the AI also provides constructive critiques to refine the portfolio, ensuring it meets professional standards and fulfills individual needs.

How we built it

The foundation of our tool lies in AWS' PartyRock Generative AI, combined with strategic prompt engineering for enhanced customization. This powerful blend of technologies enables the creation of a dynamic and adaptive portfolio inspiration generator.

Challenges we ran into

The initial hurdle was the lack of specific ideas, driven by the misconception that all possibilities had been explored by ChatGPT. Overcoming this challenge required a shift in perspective and a deep dive into niche areas to discover untapped potential.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

After rigorous testing and tweaking, the project has reached a satisfying stage, albeit still a work in progress. The core concepts have been successfully implemented, marking a significant achievement in turning the initial vision into a tangible product.
