Inspiration

As a student who is passionate about graphic design, I wanted a single place where I could professionally showcase my creative works. Social media platforms do not fully represent a designer’s skills or growth, so I was inspired to build a personal portfolio website that highlights my design journey, style, and capabilities in a clean and organized way.

What it does

This project is a personal portfolio website that showcases my graphic design works, including logo designs, poster designs, and wallpapers. It presents my skills, basic information, and selected works in a visually appealing layout. The website is designed to be simple, responsive, and easy to navigate for anyone who wants to explore my work.

How I built it

I built this portfolio using HTML and CSS. HTML was used to structure the content, while CSS handled the layout, colors, typography, and responsiveness. I focused on keeping the design minimal so that the visuals speak for themselves. Placeholder images are used for now, which can be easily replaced with real design works in the future.

Challenges I ran into

One of the main challenges was organizing the layout in a way that looks professional while remaining simple. Making the website responsive for different screen sizes was also challenging, especially as a beginner. I solved these issues by experimenting with CSS layouts and continuously testing the design on different devices.

What I learned

Through this project, I learned how to structure a complete website from scratch and how small design choices can greatly impact user experience. I also gained confidence in using HTML and CSS together to build something practical and meaningful.

What's next for this project

In the future, I plan to add animations, a contact form, and more advanced styling using JavaScript. I also want to continuously update the portfolio as I create more design works and improve my skills.
