Inspiration As a front-end developer and engineering student, I wanted to create a dedicated space to showcase my journey, technical skills, and personal projects. The idea of building a portfolio was inspired by the need to present myself professionally during internships and job applications. It also gave me the chance to reflect on how far I’ve come and where I want to go next.
How I Built It This portfolio was built using:
HTML5 and CSS3 for structure and design
JavaScript for interactivity
Responsive Web Design principles to make it mobile-friendly
Git and GitHub for version control and deployment
The code is modular, well-organized, and easy to maintain or expand as I grow.
What I Learned Structuring and organizing a full project from scratch
Writing clean and maintainable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Implementing responsive layouts using Flexbox and media queries
Managing a project with Git and pushing updates to GitHub
Understanding the basics of UI/UX to improve user experience
Challenges Faced Making the design responsive across different devices
Selecting a consistent and visually appealing color scheme
Debugging layout and alignment issues
Keeping the codebase clean as new features were added
Conclusion This portfolio is more than just a project—it’s a reflection of my skills, learning process, and aspirations. It will continue to evolve as I gain more experience, add new projects, and refine my web development skills.
