My inspiration came from Geometry Dash and another game called Spilt Gate.
The game works by having the cat/player continually running towards the end while going through portals and dodging spikes and tricks.
Game was built in Scratch
Many minor challenges such as teleporting bugs, movement bugs, and level design bugs. However, the biggest challenge/problem was learning how to code in Scratch. Originally, this was supposed to be the Mental Health app but the materials needed to make the app such as Kivy wasn't able to be downloaded for use in Python.
I learned how to experiment with different elements in Scratch that I do not recall. It also taught me to save your work even after adding something small as this project's saves were lost a couple of times.
What is next for Portal Game is to try to make a python version of it. A version of this game being made in Python will allow it to look better and have way more to learn and to experiment with it.
