Inspiration

It was my childhood when I was decided to become a hacker. But I don't know about resources, I was running out of guidance. But after class 10th, I quit my school, one of the popular reason was lockdown and we all sat down in our home. I used to scroll youtube and there I find about hacking roadmap. I completed my coding journey and made several programs that help a beginner to know a basic level hacking. Portscanner was one of those.

What it does

It scans all the open tcp ports on target network and report about it. It's also capable to report closed ports as well on user's need.

How we built it

We build it by using java swing library.

Challenges we ran into

I faced that every situation it was unable to connect with network or it was lagged. I also have seen that it informs closed ports but they are actually open into shodan. But atlast we managed to do this.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I post the code in my github account and made a video on it. Peoples are actually liking our portscanner.

What we learned

We learned how network scanner works and we need patience to run our code, sometimes it take very long day to be solved.

What's next for Port Scanner

Actually I'm developing many port scanners in different languages, and trying to make an advanced scanner that also catch udp ports.
