Module to spice up your development experience. You never know who's going to pop up on your ports!

Whenever I start a new express app, I’ll add a little logging message for myself to know that my server started up without any issues – it’s pretty boring to just say “Server listening on port 3000" though. For my own amusement, I started adding things like “The gnomes are listening on port 3000" or “The unicorns are running wild on port 3000” instead.

Some friends took notice and thought it was pretty funny. So I bundled up a quick NPM package to drop in your own apps. Once included, you’ll be greated with a fun message when your server successful starts up. Hopefully it will brighten your day, or at least your development experience.
