What I’m building

Poppivo is a feed of portrait games. Open it, play a round, then swipe into something different. The bigger plan is a place where people can create, remix and share their own games.

Try the browser demo

The early browser demo is live at https://poppivo.com/play. It has six games to try: CUTWING, BENDLIGHT, SKYFALL, OURO, SEAMKEEP and BRAIDWAY. You can skip the waitlist prompt and play without a download. The demo supports touch or keyboard, and progress stays in your browser.

The worlds

CUTWING starts with a paper bird and floating ivory islands. BENDLIGHT explores emerald glass and brass. SKYFALL pairs a brass crane with teal ceramic towers. Each game has its own visual direction, with portrait layouts and focused controls tying the collection together.

What comes next

The mobile app is still in development. Creator publishing, remixing and Claude-assisted creation are planned features, not part of today’s demo. The goal is to let someone turn an idea into a game, refine it and share it with the feed. No mobile release date has been announced.

Website technology

The public website uses JavaScript and React. The Built with tags here describe the website.

CUTWING is playable in the Poppivo browser demo.

One tap does two jobs: it gets you to the next cloud and decides how much wing you have left for the jump after that. A sheet sweeps over the folded wing. Tap to cut it, or press Space on a keyboard. Cut a left overhang and you fly right; cut a right overhang and you fly left.

The amount you cut changes the distance. Every sixth cloud is a dock that refills your wing, so you have a little room to plan ahead. Large offcuts can turn into optional ledges later in the course.

Try it here: https://poppivo.com/demo/play?game=cutwing

It’s an early demo, and there’s no download or required signup.
