Popcorn KPOP Music Video

Inspiration

We wanted to explore how AI could be used to create a full-fledged K-pop experience — from music production to visuals and animation. K-pop is known for its catchy hooks, vibrant aesthetics, and high-energy choreography, and we wanted to see if AI tools could replicate (and remix) that creative magic.

What it does

Popcorn KPOP is an AI-generated music video that blends multiple creative technologies to produce an original pop concept. The project features an AI-composed K-pop song, AI-generated characters and scenes, and AI-powered animation — all synchronized into one cohesive performance video.

How we built it

Music: Created using Suno AI, which generated the melody, lyrics, and vocals.

Visuals: Character designs and backgrounds were made using Higgsfield (Seedream 4.0 & Nanobanana) to match the K-pop aesthetic — colorful, expressive, and dynamic.

Animation: The visuals were brought to life and choreographed using Grok Imagine, turning static images into a music video.

Editing: We then combined everything into a final edit that feels like a debut music video Capcut

Challenges we ran into

Aligning the AI-generated visuals with the rhythm and beat of the song.

Maintaining consistent character design across different AI-generated frames.

Balancing creative control with AI unpredictability — sometimes the AI produced unexpected but interesting results, and other times it went totally off-style.

Accomplishments that we're proud of
