Pop-up Class

Inspiration

As a master's student, it is hard to remain motivated to study while confined at home. It must be even harder on school-age children and their parents. This idea is meant to make homework more bearable for children by interspersing it in their leisure time instead of having long study sessions.

What it does

Pop-up Class is essentially a screen limiting app. A parent can set an allocated amount of time for entertainment e.g. games or TV shows. While the child is streaming or playing a game, the app will pause the content and "pop-up" a short lesson/quiz set by the child's teachers. Once the lesson is passed, the app gives returns access to the child.
