Inspiration

As this was our First Hackathon, We were inspired to create this project by the hackathon itself, and Kent's 10th anniversary gave us the notion of investigating themes related to events (birthday, anniversary, etc). I am thankful that we were made aware of this chance.

What it does

The project we created is for folks who have a hard time remembering forthcoming events and frequently disappoint their loved ones. So we decided to create a website that allows users to save all of their events time and date, whether it's a birthday or an anniversary, and we'll notify them before the event's preliminary date arrives.

How we built it

We used HTML/CSS and JAVASCRIPT to create the entire project/website. For the project indicated by the Kent 10th anniversary, we used the birthday and event theme. Our team divided the work based on the tech stack we were familiar with.

Challenges we ran into

Because this was the team's first hackathon, we didn't know much about how the event worked, which caused us to take our time throughout the ideation phase. Our team consisted of three members, two of whom knew only html, CSS, and a little javascript and had no experience with a backend or react js. As a novice with no experience in web building, one of our members assisted us with some text and graphic design. We were unable to implement our ideas since we lacked backend experience.
