Inspiration

We were inspired by a mutual interest in improving our bodily health. A common issue we all faced was struggling to understand what our poop was telling us about our diet and how to improve it to.

What it does

Our website Poopsanality takes input from the user and determines a list of possible issues with their stool, information about it, and next steps for them to improve their poop health.

How we built it

We built it using Drafter a python tool developed by the University of Delaware staff. We all have experience using it, so it was the best choice.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge we ran into was getting everyone on the same page and actually starting. Eventually we all got on board with this idea and once we got that ship sailing the rest became much easier.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of having worked all together on this project and having made something that could actually help us in our daily lives as well as other people.

What we learned

We learned a lot about our own pooping habits and ways to fix it, so we all have easier times on the toilet. We also learned what it means to code on a team.

What's next for Poopsanality

We want to expand it to make it more in-depth to get more details about someone stool. We also want to see if we can expand it out of drafter and make it into a real life website that could help more people!
