What Is PoolUp?

PoolUp is a DAO infrastructure aiming at helping people to get to the target tokens or NFTs by creating their only DAO or joining other’s DAO on Tron. It can be regarded as the DAO of DAOs. For each individual DAO, we provide a crowdfunding function. Everyone pools their token together on Tron to purchase a specific target on Ethereum, and thus, shares the cost of doing so, which we think will significantly lower the cost of every single investor.

How We Built PoolUp

Lets’ take NFT purchasing as an example:

Those who want to target some Ethereum projects can set a proposal thus opening a DAO on Tron in our protocol. After setting some basic parameters, the crowdfunding process begins and whoever wants to participate in the same investment can send their funds to the DAO contract. When the amount reaches the target, all funds will be collected together and go through a bridge to get to Ethereum to purchase the assets. All participants will share the transaction cost.

S2: Investors pool the assets together on Tron

S3: Proposer bridges the ETH from Tron to Ethereum network

S4: Proposer buys and sells the NFT on Opensea.

S5: Proposer bridges the ETH back to Tron and all the investors can claim their assets from the website.

What‘s Next?

All the above functions are just the beginning of our journey. PoolUp's mission is to become a basic framework for those who want to lower their interaction cost with Ethereum. Further, people even can use PoolUp as a crowdfunding module to plug into any projects which needs similar functions. The projects utilizing our module can have access to all kinds of users on multiple blockchains.

In conclusion

In Conclusion, we believe DAO is a very important infrastructure in Web3. This opinion has emerged for a long time, however, we still don't have a killer DAO app. It is not the reason for tech but the result of a wrong target. Almost all the DAOs in markets today are focusing on some big challenges like how can we govern our project to make it greater, everyone comes to vote. But sometimes people are gathered for some small reasons, to be more specific, they want to invest a token or they want to be involved in some great moment like ConstitutionDAO. They gathered, played, had fun together, and dismissed, searching for another target. We expect PoolUp can become a useful tool to help the people in Web3 to easily gather and fulfill their tasks together. We believe everyone will find their right place in PoolUp!
