Pompton Lakes Connections

Originally, "Pompton Lakes Connections" started out as an idea for a Partnership with Business Project in this years Future Business Leaders of America competitions. After sharing my ideas with Mayor Cole, the mayor of Pompton Lakes, my crazy idea became a plausible invention. Through the collaborative effort alongside Mayor Cole and my town's Chamber of Commerce my envision began to unfold. The app was created to recreate our town's website into an application that citizens of Pompton Lakes can access easily and on the go. What started out strictly as Borough information quickly grew to be larger than anticipated. We reached out to business owners who were looking to market there business for no fee. The overwhelming response from businesses sparked interest among organizations in town and "Pompton Lakes Connections" began to flourish. Several months later, "Pompton Lakes Connections" has been downloaded by a majority of our target market. Businesses and organizations who did not initially participate have reached out applauding our app along with inquiring to be apart of it. Further work on the app is being preformed and "Pompton Lakes Connections" is now in the process of being recreated to appear on Google Play and hopefully the App Store.
