What it does

A chrome extension to find friends and places to meet based on study groups in your vicinity

• Earn points from completing Pomodoro focus sessions.
• Find Learning Hubs: Geolocations of libraries, cafes, and 3rd spaces with the highest number of Pomo Points accumulated
• Compete on the leader board: view the leaderboard for all time high scoring Pomo Players

Race conditions with the Pomodoro timer and timeouts from API calls to update geolocation

What we learned

Building a chrome extension using our knowledge of web development tools and finding ways to use gamification to motivate users to explore a new city!

What's next for PomoWorld

The next feature of PomoWorld will include site tracking. This will be used to automatically tag each focus session with an activity and stop the timer when a user visits a self defined blocked site (ex: visiting Netflix.com during a focus session).
