Inspiration
Why I Built PomoPlus I was always getting distracted online. My focus was all over the place. I used a bunch of different apps to help—one for a timer, another for my to-do list, and one to block websites. It was messy.
I wanted one single app that did everything. An app that made it easy and fun to focus. So, I decided to build it myself.
How we built it
I used modern tools to make the app work well: React & TypeScript: To build the app in organized pieces and avoid bugs. Zustand: To easily manage all the data, like tasks and XP points. Tailwind CSS: To style the app and give it a clean, modern look.
Challenges we ran into
None, Bolt did everything all at once.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I built something that can be used and is helpful. I will be using it as my browser wallpaper/startup screen, and use it as my productivity tool.
