Inspiration
As students, time management is key. With finals just last month, improving in this department will be critical for the success of this semester.
What it does
This tool is a pomodoro type app that manages time spent studying and time spent in leisure.
How we built it
We researched many tools and informative videos to help guide us with our idea. We then proceeded to brainstorm features that would be included in the application. From there, we separated the task.
Challenges we ran into
We first wanted to work with swift, but our team consisted of both macs and windows computer, so we had to fold to android. Furthermore, as many of us did not have much experience in UX/UI, we thought that we would challenge ourselves by choosing this challenge.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Despite our entire team having no experience in mobile/smartwatch application developement, we managed to end up with an app that we can say tested our skills to the fullest.
What we learned
As many of us did not have experience, we exposed ourselves to a lot of new tools especially those that have to do with UX/UI.
What's next for Pomodoro tool
The next great feature we intend to add to the Pomodoro tool is the ability to create the ability for the user to configure several presets in order to meet their individual time management needs.
